Group for
Technical Assistance/Global Health Initiative Henry Ford Health System (GHI -
HSHF) organized the dissemination meeting on 10 May 2019 at Hotel View
Bhrikuti, Godawari, with support from WHO, to share the preliminary findings of
the feasibility study. The dissemination meeting was attended by 36
participants from the government, the United Nations (UN), non-governmental
organizations (NGOs), international organizations and hospitals. Specifically,
these participants included many distinguished people from Department of Health
Services (DoHS), Policy, Planning and Monitoring Division, Animal Health
Division, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, Development, Veterinary
Standard and Drug Regulatory Laboratory, National Public Health Laboratory
(NPHL), Department of Drug Administration (DDA), National Centre for AIDS and
STD Control (NCASC), Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC), World Health
Organization (WHO), PHECT NEPAL, Kathmandu Model Hospital, B.P. Koirala
Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Bir Hospital NAMS, Shukraraj Tropical
and Infectious Diseases Hospital, Kanti Children?s Hospital Tribhuvan
University Teaching Hospital, Patan Academy of Health Sciences, DFID, NHSSP,
FHI 360, and Group for Technical Assistance (GTA).
Key remarks were
given by Dr. Dipendra Raman Singh, Chief (Quality, Standard and
Regulation, At MoHP); Dr. Reuben Samuel, Technical Lead, WHO Health
Emergencies Programmes, WHO; Dr. Pushpa Chaudhary, Secretary, MoHP; and
